Hi,

I was looking on some guidance and info about this vacuum I got from an old neighbor. I have no real use for it and plan on selling, probably on eBay. I know very little about it, and having a hard time finding info on the web. I just know that it works Any suggestions on pricing, how to use or if best to part out would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Please don't part out. I really don't like when sellers sell a vacuum in pieces and price each part unrealistically high.

This Eureka Power Team is from around 1978 or 1979. The colour is Brandywine Red. Your two on-board white tools are original deluxe Eureka tools - extra wide upholstery nozzle and square dusting brush with horse hair bristles. The black upholstery nozzle is from another vacuum. The black hose is a replacement - this model would have come with a white hose.

Why not sell it here?

I had one similar to it that had been my grandmother's. It was the first canister vacuum I'd ever used that had a power nozzle. It really changed the way I look at canisters. I wish I still had it. I've been kind of halfway looking for one but they don't turn up that often around here. The best I've managed to find so far is one with just the hose for about $10 at Goodwill.

Why don't you try selling it on the Supermarket page here. I'm sure there would be plenty of interest and the best part is you'd know whoever bought it would take good care of it. But first, do some eBay research to get an idea of what a fair price would be.
