Thanks for this! I may be wrong, but I think there also was a Eureka Automatic 250 sold in the 1950’s. This was the predecessor to the 260 that matched up with the year 1960 along with the Super Rotomatic 960 canister.

You can get an indication of timing by the decade number: the 1950’s model numbers had 5’s (250) the 1960’s model numbers had 6’s (260) and as we got closer to 1970, Eureka started introducing a 270.
