Saw the Eureka in the pictures of the sale online.. Got to the house and found it in one of the bedrooms. Then went to the basement and about fell over when I saw the 29 with its original bag! $18 for both... The Eureka's hood is a bit rough, but has its original bag as well, and I think they're somewhat rare, so I grabbed it. The Hoover bag has been patched, but still in amazing shape! Also found a cool Kenmore mixer and some other trinkets.

Neat finds! I've never seen that Eureka before. Do you know what model number it is?
The Hoover should clean up very well, the duct tape might be a pain to get off though.

Fred, great finds there, you guys have the best luck! I'm plotzing over that Eureka. Our next door neighbor used to let me vacuum when I was little, and IIRC, I think hers was the Montgomery Ward version. I think it had more of a rectangular headlight lens. It was retired to the basement when she got a new DS50. I have never seen one again!

Great finds Fred! Can't beat the price either! Think the Eureka is a rare one, Mike Hays has the only other one I've ever seen of that model. Congrats!
Jeff

I believe the Eureka's model number is D-360, that model being referred to in advertising as the Eureka Deluxe Automatic (actually the lower priced alternative to the Eureka Supreme Automatic model S-246.)
