Found this sunbeam today for a buck. I do not know much about it at all, but for the price I figured why not

<span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">If that's the model I think it is, it's a hella powerful vacuum cleaner! As Hans Craig would say, "That'll suck dry paint right off the wall!"</span>

It's tan predecessor...

was rated the #1 canister in consumer's reports March 1967 issue. It had the highest suction of ALL vacuums tested. Back then it still came with a braided hose and friction fit wands. Hope you can find the rest of the tools.

I saw one of those with a 3 or four speed switch on it not too long ago it's a shame the bearings were just awful and the price they wanted for it was a bit steep considering it's condition. It looks interesting otherwise, perhaps a kind of answer to the Celebrity?

My Aunt had that model in avacado green (ugh). It was, indeed, a powerful vacuum. I loved it until she got the Challenger (very Brady looking) and retired the nice round one. LOL

This is a great vacuum, my grandmas friend Inga had thissame cleaner, and left it with my grandma when she moved to California, I was given that vacuum and used it fro many many years, great suction, wish I still had it.

Oh and this machine came out before the Hoover Celbrity did
