Looks like John Lewis have dropped the X1.1 off their website plus they only had 2 D Series too! In fact looks like they have reduced the range slightly overall. Probably some model changes happening!

John Lewis did that a few months ago with the X1.1 and then it reappeared.

It has always been an online sales only product since buyers prefer the X4. I would suspect that JL have done it so that buyers concentrate on JL's exclusive model rather than the cheaper X1.1

I've never noticed that before. Makes sense especially when they don't stock the X1.1 on the stores. Least they can try the X4 in the shop and order online if they decide not to buy there and then in store. Although I only thought it was strange as they have reduced the whole SEBO line up online.

Felix Pet has gone as well. The Titan and Total D4 models have gone. The K3 Premium has gone. They were all models that JL never kept in stock anyway, and if you wanted one of them, you had to have them as special orders direct from their "authorised suppliers" usually within 14 working days.

I'd imagine that as JL are at the forefront for selling new models, with only about 12 weeks now before the EU ban on 1600W+ machines coming in, they are getting rid of the old power guzzlers to enable them to usher in the all new model range of sub 1600W green eco machines, from all the manufacturers.

After Sept, I imagine that we will still see all the 1600W+ machines being sold off as New Other - box opened or damaged on EBay, or as USED - only used once, or EX-Display, to get round the new EU Regs.

JL, as the main dealer of upmarket vacs, will need to get its ranges sorted well before the new Regs come in. They also need to get rid of all their 1200W Henrys, to allow them to usher in the new range of 580W Henrys waiting in the wings.

The next 3 months are gonna see a lot more changes now, as we rapidly approach the "end of the road" for 1600W+ machines in the EU and UK.

Im holding off until the new vacuums come onto the market - and I have plenty of excuses to fill the void. I have sold my D2 Total. I reckon I have enough vintage cylinder vacs to start using some of them.

My 8 year old SEBO K3 Premium cord reel has also broken again. SEBO are collecting it some time this week to see what the fault is. I know at this rate I won't be buying another K series again until they resort to a proper pedal cord rewind release. That may never happen until one day when there may be a new model.

This fault also occurred on my K1 Komfort 1800 watt model several years ago, too.

As such I already have my low watt Teal green 1500 C2 which has enough power and quietness. The last of the brown paper dust bags I had for my X4 can also be used in this cylinder vac.
