I have a total of 8 Electrolux canister vacs. I have 1 model 30, 1 model E, 2 model G, 2 model L, and two other I'm not sure of the model of. Some of them have ther power nozel and hoses. My question is how do you display your electroluxs? Do you display them with the power nozel? or do you have them off to the side elsewhere? Depending on what I'm using a vac for I may use one of the electroluxs but normally like to use my upright Kirby. But when they are not in use I like to have them displayed. If I have the nozel next to the machine, they tend to fall down, and then the hoses are a pain to get into position as well. Well anyways if anyone out there has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Justin

Beware!

Justin:

Displaying your machines with their hoses connected to their power nozzles is a VERY bad idea. When hoses are not in use, they should be stored in such a way that they are not bent over a small curve. If you leave a hose connected to a power nozzle that is standing up, the hose gets bent over too small a curve. When hoses get bent that way for any length of time, they crack right where the bend is, close to the hose handle.

One of the best ways to store a hose is over two sturdy nails spaced about ten or twelve inches apart. Hang the hose over the nails, and let the ends hang down.

When I'm through vacuuming, I always remove the hose from the canister and power nozzle, and hang it, so that it will not crack. It's okay to leave the hose connected and the power nozzle standing for as long as it takes to take photos, but not for any length of time, trust me.
