Hi there fellow vacuum collectors,
I just thought I would ask any of you all out there if anyone happens to have a spare part I need for my ELECTROLUX model ZA65. It's this little badge thing that mine is in need of. I do still have the original- here it is, in all its damage!
Thanks
George

Hey - since you are doing a parts thread you should also include the telescopic wand and brush head for the crevice tool that you are missing.

Mind if I throw in that I need a dusting brush for one too if anyone has any of these parts spare.

Doug

I might have some

I got this all-must-go Lux package one day, there were several parts included. I am positive that I have got the upper end "open" bags for this vacuum (original Electrolux Z 65).
Just let me check this tomorrow.

I have a spare badge for the za 65

I have the spare badge on a really scuffy rusty za 65 which i keep for mechanical parts i only got it first of all to get the hose of it.

It has a good motor but its not the best to look at,so I could give you the badge as mine is mint condition badge wise.

The badge i have is not perfect, but you will have to tell me how to get it off the machine as its riveted on and i dont know how to go about that.

Actually you have just reminded me now i need to get the handle of the spare one to put in my lovely one as that has hair line cracks on the handle, but thats riveted on too.

If you want the badge get back to me your welcome to have it

badge/handle rivet removal

Hello Mark,

I have been advised that the best and safest way is to use a small chisel on the underside of the rivet; in this case inside the bag chamber.

Use a small hammer employing quick positive hints, stopping after each one to check your progress.

Regards, Walter.

Hi Walter my fave member here is Walter :-)

Well I have the badge off, for this man in one bit,so i did not break it,hes not responded to me.He is welcome to have it.

so dysondestijl if you would like this badge get in contact with me,you can easily glue it on and I dont want anything for it.

Its only going to cost me a second class stamp to send it to you.If you dont I will turn it into a key ring lol so get on with it and reply lol

I have included two pics of the bage the chrome effect under the plastic has gone a little but its still good in the blue area's and certainly better than nothaving a bade.

You have four wks to reply if not its going to be a key ring or someone else can have it.

woops the pics of the bage are here for you to look at

WELL dysondestijl here are the pictures for you.

If you dont respond in the next four wks anyone else is more than welcome to have it if they have a ZA65 without a badge

Hi There- very sorry I haven't replied as I have been very busy recently!
Thankyou for the offer of the badge, I would be honoured to take it off your hands!
Thanks
George

hi mr well dysondestijl your welcome to have it

If you check out my profile you will see an email contact, put in the subject of who you are so i know its not spam and i will send it you good sir.

The z65 just doesn't look right without a badge so i feel you need it. I would suggest perhaps glueing the item on rather than using a rivet. But of course that is up to you.

The rivet is still in the badge but i don't think will be an issue I did not like to remove this from badge as i feel sure it will indeed break it. I think will glue in perfectly

Hope to hear from you soon and hope it makes your 65 look better :-) they are lovely machines.
