hi all,
how can I disassemble a Lux woven hose? (Euro style, so no inner wiring)
Yes, I have used the search here and on youtube as well, I have read all available leak repair instructions with rubber and plastic and pour-in and sliding a foil thingy along the hose etc. etc. Perhaps I missed something or skipped the correct link.
But how do I take off the aluminum handle or the main machine connector in the first place?
I managed to slide the vinyl handgrip cover back, but there is this white plastic ring (swiveling/rotating) that keeps the hose end in the back end of the aluminum elbow. How do I get that ring off without breaking it?
All instructions I found say "remove handle and/or connector and proceed like this:" (followed by the rubber recoating instructions)
Nice, but first I need to get there, so take the elbow off. How is this done?
This may sound quite stupid to most of our routine experts, but I have never had to disassemble a hose at all in my life (until now, that is...).
Thanks for any advice or a matching how-to link.
