Corrections:
Here are a couple corrections ... 1) The gray B-8 was discontinued in 1983 when the B-9 was introduced. 2) According to the owner's manual, I have the wrong color of cord on the PN-2 for the gold 1205--it should have been the ivory-colored one.
Speaking of the gray B-9, as far as eBay is concerned the gray B-9 is quite rare as it was only sold for about a year. I think the shampoo dispenser tank's label was "Floor Beautifier"; not to be confused with the later gray model S105B with the "Epic Floor Pro" label.
Acknowledgement ... The photos above are missing the other Model S hose and the Model S tools, because I don't own them.
I'm wondering if anyone knows when the "gray era" ended? I know that the DJ was temporarily recalled after its introduction due to a motor problem, so the Silverado was reissued during that time; but I'm unsure if it was finally discontinued in 1984 or 1985. I'm also wondering if the other gray machines were reissued during the interim, too?
I also wanted to mention that there was a sand/jade-colored Rug Washer that was sold concurrently with the Diamond J, Hi-Tech 2100, and L-E of the same colors.
Lastly, I took the photos about a year ago and have since collected all the owner's manuals--including the tank vacuum cleaners, the B-8s, and the Rug Washers; except for the ones for the gold-colored Model L and the gray-colored Rug Washer.

A couple of tiny nits to pick...
• The combination floor tool you show for the E, T & EA was actually only for the E-A. The E & T did not have the spring-mechanism neck. Also, the early combination floor tool for the Model E had a label made of the same fiber material as the crevice tool rather than metal. (See Photos 1 & 2 below.)
• The hose you show for LX - LXI - E - EA is (or appears to be) a non-Electrolux replacement. The background color of silver rather than dark gray is the telling point. (See Photos 3, 4, 5 & 6below.)
• The hose for the LX, LXI & E was made of woven cloth, not saran. And the E hose had a blue hammertone machine-end coupler. (See Photos 7 & 8 below - Photo 8 is is Tania Voigt's Model LX.)
• The Model T is a bit more complicated -- I have seen (and had them) with both cloth and saran hoses; the saran hoses did not have the handle-end suction control as did the hose for the E-A.
These miniscule details notwithstanding, you really have done a great job. I admire and appreciate your diligence!

If you like that sort of thing. I'm all another make, begins with H, but, I always appreciate good art, display, etc. I'm glad you like those machines, even if it's a different species.

Everybody has their favorite marque that they love & support. It's called diversity and there's plenty of it in the vacuum world....no shortage of interesting models/companies out there over the yrs....something for everybody. I'm very cautious to say anything against the 'H', people or the 'M' folks, the 'FQ' set or 'R' crowd. It would be pointless to try and force someone to believe my favorites are better or more important than theirs.
It's easy for me....I just respond to Lux threads.....with an occasional mention of the 'H' Constellation.

I love all vacuum cleaners, but,
it's no secret that my favorite is the Electrolux model LX, which happens to be the picture of the day. I was only two years old when this was new, and I saw it eject the wrapper (as the bags were called at the time) it left a lasting impression. Today, 64 years later, that's still my daily driver.

accessories! I stop at the G in the Lux lineage.....but if a deal came up on one that looked and performed like that.......
I grew up with a Rexair for the hard flooring and a H upright for the carpets. I wasn't introduced to Lux until '83 and that was a very well used G my mother-in-law gave us.....still have it too.

I grew up with a pretty diverse selection of vacs, including Lewyt, Bissell, Singer and Hoover, but I always admired my grandparents' Electrolux. I think it was an LX but it might have been an XXX. Either way, it was a beautiful and quiet machine, even without a power nozzle. When I was a teenager, Dad rescued a 1205 from the neighbors' trash pile and we used it for several years. It never was that great because of a leaky, non-powered hose. I hadn't seen the thing in more than 20 years, so I assumed (incorrectly, it turns out) that they'd gotten rid of it. But when I found it in the attic this past summer, I brought it home home and ended up giving it a makeover—replaced the handle, cleaned it up, gave it an OEM vinyl hose and a teal powered wand (probably from a model G) and paired it up with a Silverado gray PN4A, so today it's running better than ever.
Although I did not grow up with Kirbys at all, my present day affinity for them stems from childhood, when I witnessed—and was mightily impressed by—an in-home demonstration of a Classic Omega in about 1973 when I was nine or ten years old, followed by a chance find of a Gsix beside a dumpster almost 40 years later.

Charles ... Thanks for the corrections, additions, and photos. You have a discerning eye and are correct that the hose I labeled for the E and E-A was aftermarket. I bought it from Jimmy, and he mentioned that at the time--guess I forgot till you brought it up again. I appreciate your compliment, as well.

Hunan ... I agree with you that childhood memories impact our preferences and perspectives. Interestingly, though, I never even knew the name Electrolux until my landlord in college showed me his 2 Model XXXs and harvest gold Model 1363; but it has become my fave brand.
