Hey everybody, I've been reading this forum for a long long time and was too shy to say hello! So hello everyone! I've got a question I would appreciate some help with too. I have been sitting on (not literally!) the above vac for a year or so and really want to get it working again! Someone gave it to me and I used it for about 5 mins before it popped, and died with a slight smell of burn from the motor. I took it to the only vac shop I could find who said the motor was good but the wiring was too complex for him to figure out what was wrong! The only reason I want to keep hold of it I guess is because it was my first experience with SP and I loved it (well, for 5 mins anyway!). Any ideas where I can go next? I have tried a couple of local shops who have said it is too old for them to look at! I am in south west London, UK.

Any advice would be great! I am not very mechanically minded either btw!

Thanks everyone and hello again!

Bradley
