I have an Electrolux Super J/model 1401 which I'm trying to reassemble correctly. I managed to lose my notes so am looking for info on the correct order of the motor's fan parts. Not sure if this can be put together wrong, so want to check before creating new problems. Thanks! Brad

First put the spacer onto the armature going into the bearing plate, than place the lower fan on the shaft, that is the one that is flat on the bottom and the hub is up in the center where you can see the opening of the fan blades, than the stationery center fan goes on followed by the upper fan, place that one on with the hub facing down, so now the 2 hubs are hitting each other on the shaft of the armature, put the nut on the threaded shaft and tighten it, place the outer fan housing on and fasten it down with the 4 screws. I hope this helps.

new to the forum. Hope this loads.
I marked the fan parts with a sharpie when I took mine apart.
I noticed it has been 15 years since it was last reconditioned.
This Super J has been through a lot, it was pretty dirty inside.
I ran out of electrical cleaner to clean the motor, but throttle body cleaner works just as well and does not damage plastic.
Armature is getting lubed with a drop of synthetic oil on each end. (syringe with needle comes in handy)
A major dissassembly/cleanup/paint and it will going to my son for his new apartment.
