Well, it is about the right size for a meatloaf or breadpan. :-)

But I thought convection ovens swirled the hot air around the cavity, not draw it in one end and expel it out the other...

I always get a smile out of seeing 1205s, Golden Js, Super Js, Olympias, and Silverados listed on Ebay as "Electrolux Automatic Control Vacuum", as if "Automatic Control" was the name of the machine. Mind you, it is in a prominent place, even more visible than the model name, so I can see why "non-vacuum" people would take it as the name, but it does make me smile. With a "Supper J", one should be able to cook up a smashing dinner AND clean it up afterward.

lux in europe makes most kinds of major appliances, washer, dryers, fridges, stoves, etc

Yes, Electrolux is all over Asia as well. I still have an Electrolux vacuum and toaster oven in my house in China. I wanted to get an Electrolux coffee maker, but for some reason didn't. As far as I know, the Electrolux products sold in China are made there, or at least assembled there.
