So this is the other vacuum from the job lot of three i got off ebay for £15. Nothing much to say about it but yeah. Not sure on the date of this although with the wheel dater thing on i think it was the bag door or near there it was march 1999 so not 100% sure. Would appreciate if anyone has any info on this cleaner. not many pictures at all though but anyway hope you all enjoy!

Also ~ its missing the dusting brush and the lower cord hook has snapped not by me though it wasn't even on there when i got it lol

That is an American-made Eureka Victory SmartVac. I'd say from the mid 1990's. Cool silver colour with embedded silver flecks which was the "SmartVac" trademark colouring with distinct graphics highlighting the features of the machine. Like the branding "The Boss", Eureka made silver SmartVac versions of a variety of vacuums, including a World Vac power nozzle canister and a Self-Propelled upright.

Nice "Back-Saver" handle contour on those Victory uprights. Consumer Reports tests gave it only a "Good" for carpet cleaning. Also: "tippy" positioning of the hose when using attachments (too high on the unit).

World Vac power nozzle canister and a Self-Propelled upright

We had the self propelled upright here with the metal handle, but not the PN cylinder unfortunately.

These look like nice machines. The bagless ones are HORRIBLE and the filters clog up really badly, just one cyclone tho.
I like the look of this bagged one. Reminds me of a Hoover purepower and a Hoover dustmanager side by side- a bagless and bagged version side by side.

The brushbar looks like it has nice dense bristles but beaters would be lovely

The bagless ones did have pretty good performance though, not THAT good but acceptable

lol XD My childhood vacuum was a Dyson DC01, I was scared of when my mum was using it, but otherwise I loved it nd even dragged it out of the cellar and put it besides me when I watched TV OMG
