Just so everyone knows. If anyone needs electrolux service manuals I have access to them. Aerus keeps them online in digital format for all machines going back to the late 50's. So if anyone ever needs them I would be happy to e-mail the pdf file to you.

Electrolux Model G -- repair manual pdf, please --

Hi -- I love this model, and currently have three. Recently, one of them developed an irregularity in the sound of the motor, and a suction loss. The motor kicks on fine, but it sounds rough, and sounds rough as it spins down.

Would you please send me the repair manual, along with any thoughts you might have? I am wondering if changing the brushes on the motor might fix it, or perhaps there is a bad bearing.
