Electrolux Replacment Hose for Canisters prior to 1205?

Please tell me if a hose like the one below would work with an Electrolux canister older than the 1205. If not, let me know what hose would work.

In addition, let me know if you have found success with Plasti Dip in original woven hoses.

1205 and after have a direct connect for the power nozzle, the older machines use a pigtail that plugs in at the machine.

The answer

is no. The 1205 was made for the connection on the hose. The Model G and AF and the R, and L require either an outside wire on the standard hose or pigtail electric hose that plugged into the cleaner.

Thanks, John and Hans. I figured that but wanted to be sure. I am unfamiliar with the direct-connect hoses, as I only have some of the older cleaners. I appreciate your responses.
