I saw this posted on Ebay as the Renaissance "Revealer". Was this an optional component or just something a sales contractor used?

This dirt

revealer is like the Kirby dirt revealer in that you hook this in place of the top wand and have your demo pad and vacuum to show the dirt in the carpet.

I dont think so, basically what they did in the old days, was use a cloth bag for demo and empty it several times to show what was being picked up, that and pick up steel balls in a clear plastic cylinder ...The Electrolux man came to my Cousins house in 1970 to show her a 1205...he said no other vacuum would pick up three steel balls..to which she said, My Compact will.....And then PROVED IT!! She still bought the 1205, because she wanted the power nozzle...and is still using it!!LOL

Speaking of cloth bags...

I bought a Guardian 75th Anniversary Edition at a thrift store that also had a cloth bag in it. I assume for demo purposes.

You are correct ryan1994jeep. The cloth bag and plastic cover (for viewing cyclonic action) was and is a demo option for Aerus salespersons and independent contractors. Congratulations on your find!

Dirt

detector was made for and used on Model E on. I will look in my boxes of old stuff and put a picture of it on the thread
