Electrolux Regency Series?

It looks like it's got a newer hose and I don't see damages.

The lighting is not good so......not the vacuums fault.

It's got the orig. cord and plug, that's encouraging.

Are you on the fence again?  "OH-h that L-o-n-g 1 hour trek to Princeton.  I'll probably have to drive route 2 and hit a deer or get run off the road near Miller's Falls by a semi.   Oh, life is so rough....  And I don't have any room for it...  What to do?  What to do?  "

Lol

Nope. Not this time.
Just posting it in case anyone "close by" might be interested.
Plus, I never heard of this model. Thought someone might know something about it and chime in.
But, if I was interested...yes. It would have been too far for me.
Not to get all serious about it, and you didn't ask; but a little back story. I used to drive for a living. Twenty five years.
I haven't been able to work for going on three months, because driving now causes me to get sick, and nobody can figure out why.
I know. Wrong forum for sob stories. I'm done.
Thank you for the chuckle.

It was a store model

I believe this was the one that was sold at Macy’s stores for a while in late 80s early 90s. Sam’s Club sold some too around this time but unsure of what model it was “named”. Also some were sold at Service Merchandise and QVC but again I’m not sure what they named these that were sold at these retail stores, but I had heard on this site that someone said the Regency series were definitely the ones that were sold at Macy’s and it’s quite possible. I do remember seeing a plastic model like this in this coloring for sale In Macy’s stores myself at that time, but I can’t say for sure it was called “Regency series”...I just don’t remember, but the coloring seems right from my memory.

Craigslist has so many more Aerus/Electrolux’s for sale in the New England corridor. Possibly because the product in general was a big seller there so it’s legacy continued. There’s almost never any down here in Dallas. I grew up in Northern NJ and Electrolux was very popular and my family all lives in New England now and still we see a lot more of the products in their region than I do down here. Perhaps because this is a newer city than the established New England and East coast area where the product gained large popularity during its early years and continued forward. Down here, this city growing so rapidly In more recent years that a large part of the population are transplants from all over and the product is more popular among only older generations.

Umm

That carpet I believe is concrete. Its hard to tell with there high end decor. It looks like a garage floor to me.
It could be carpet either way it's definitely grody looking.

Thanks guys!

I was hoping someone would have some knowledge of the model.
That would make sense if it was a store model. I only recently learned, on this site, that Electrolux was even sold in stores! And I never knew about QVC selling them. And my mom used to be a QVC/HSN addict!
I have a few other vacuums, mainly Hoovers, that I'll use when I want some variety, but my Luxes are my go-to machines. In the past week, I've used the Ambassador III, and the Aerus Legacy.
I want to get all of my plastic Aerus/Electroluxes together one of these days for a group photo.

I was thinking (hoping) that the floor in that picture was concrete too. Garage? Basement?
If that's carpet, they need more than a vacuum!
