IMG_3112.jpegI thought it only fitting to post this as per my previous Electrolux post, this is probably to me my rare one off Electrolux, only adopted to my collection recently and for very little outlay, I believe Electrolux originally rebuilt their own vacuum cleaners prior to Godfrey’s doing such and I remember “ the friendly Electrolux salesman “ talking about the recycle of early vacuums and how Electrolux stands by their products for life, this is late 1980s and the sturdy construction enabled another generation of owners to keep their past products alive, basically everything inside and out was replaced rewired and all tools renewed too, I like the fabric finish and it operates with quality as per original design which would have been aqua or green, unfortunately some paint hasn’t survived the use but overall decades later it is very durable!!

That's cool! Lucky that the handle has survived on that one too, they were notoriously weak on that model. The 300 series and earlier vacs are designed to be repaired, everything is easily dismantled, the earlier models also had replaceable motor bearings too iirc.
