I have an Electrolux Silverado (1980?) that I've only had a problem with recently. It automatically pops open even with a brand new bag although I've tried setting the dial to "fine dust" as I thought you were supposed to do if this happens.

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

yah just take off the front cover. If the tubes look old just og to the aquarium shop and buy the new stuff. Look for the greenish blue stuff it bends alot easier. That should do the trick. Its probably that. I had to do that with a lx I had.

"there could be a clog in the sohe"

"just og to the aquarium shop"

...

If posters could take 30 seconds to review their messages before posting them, ensuring that what they have written MAKES SENSE, perhaps other people could figure out what they're saying!

Or, they could be really obsessive like I am and run a spellchecker on postings. Just a matter of pride of ownership, and wanting the stuff I write to be legible...

Just a gentle suggestion...

Sorry i just started typing the "right way" In elementry we were taught to search and deystory but im getting better now. The aquarium shop is the best place to go.

Yes, I am a little confused. A "clog in the sohe". What is the sohe? I'm not familiar with the tech terms. . . but I know I can get it at an aquarium shop!
