Electrolux Olympic rear wheel assembly

Hello:

I have an Electrolux Olympic cannister vacuum. runs great, expect the rear wheels got broke, I can buy new wheels, however the axle shaft and the cast metal that holds it is cracked beyond repair. This axle assembly is riveted to the cannister. I can drill them out, and remount , but I need the parts.

the Electrolux service department does not have this part. I would like to know if anyone has an idea of where one can get this part, or if anyone has a vacuum that is being parted out.

Did you post on CL

I saw a similar post in Craigslist. I live in Hercules and saw it when vacuum shopping. I am going to look and see if I have something to spare that I could sell or trade. Also check out Ebay and Thirft Stores I have seen some nice Luxes for under $20 in my thrift travels.

yes, posted on craigslist. Please let me know what you find. On both sides the cast metal angle that holds the stub axle is cracked and broke.
