This does look to be in amazing condition as described. It is not the very first OO but by 1982 there was a different box.The styrofoam residue mentioned was common and the reason the vac should be repacked in its plastic bag.Easily removed. The moisture looks to have done no real harm.As with most vacs I have and don't need but for some lucky collector/user this might be as close to a new Olympia as could be found if a value was agreed upon.
Since you live in the vicinity of the seller would you facilitate the shipping if the seller won't? You would of course be reimbursed for shipping costs.
I wouldn't be able to unfortunately. This listing is actually very out of the way of my house, but I have communicated with this seller and he is very eager to sell. He will most likely ship, however I would ask him.
Hello all! I am the one that was selling the Olympia one vacuum. Thank you vacmaster for posting up my ad! I’m guessing that you’re the collector that I first messaged? I did sell the Olympia one this morning. He was just as amazed about the vacuums condition as I was! I will definitely start buying vintage vacuums when I see them. I buy and sell vacuums down in San Diego. Thank you all! [this post was last edited: 7/14/2019-14:46]
