I bought this machine from a seller in San Diego who found it at Goodwill . The posting for the sale was advertised here on Vacuumland a few weeks ago, so I was like what the hell? Why not add this baby to my collection?! This machine was the official vacuum cleaner of the 1980 Olympic Games. It runs really nice and the hose incredibly doesn’t have any leaks! I suspect the machine was owned by a former Electrolux salesman. I removed the rust spots from the top chrome plate with some Mother's Mag Aluminum polish ( Oh sweet Mother Mag!!! ) I'm proud to be a Lux fan Man!!! [this post was last edited: 8/7/2019-18:18]

Nice! This is the same one my great grandma had, still have it but it hasn't been plugged in for 15-17 years. Hers doesn't have the olympic games badge or the brown PN though, she kept the chrome PN from her old model, and hers has the vinyl replacement hose.
