Hello!
I recently picked up a Electrolux olyimpia and I love it. The only issue is part of the power nozzle is cracked so the wheels don’t stay in right. I used a piece of tape to fix it but I would like to find the replacement part.

Power Nozzle

Your PN is newer and would have first been on last Silverado and Diamond Jubilee. As with many Elux attachments it can be used with many models. You just need the improved axle cover that was a common repair years ago.

Possible Replacements

Kirbyman65,

Congrats on getting an Electrolux Model 1401-B Olympia One.

A couple alternatives to Aerus (Electrolux) pn parts that may work for you (I don't think OEM Aerus parts are available for purchase to DIYers):

1. Bissell model BGBPAK1

2. PERFECT

Another consideration is that there was a spring-loaded axle on some models, and a fixed axle on others; I'm unsure if the wheel cover plate is the same on both styles.

Check eBay...

There are always Electrolux power nozzles and parts on there. What would have come with that Olympia One was a PN4 or 4A with a metal hood, painted brown to match the vacuum. In a brief scan using the search term "Electrolux Power Nozzle", I did find the part below, which should fix yours. You'll need to transfer all the 'guts' out of your PN and reuse your top cover:

Thank You!!!

Thanks so much! I found the cover plate! I’m excited to have my Electrolux working as it should.
Greatly appreciated

Just a warning to anyone reading this - The Perfect C103/Clean Obsessed powerhead and it's parts are NOT the same as the Electrolux PN5 and newer powerheads.

The "Wheel Axle Cover", as it's called by Aerus, the Perfect part will fit in place of the original part. However, there was a version made in the 90s up till about 2009 when the first Guardian was discontinued, that has 2 slots in the cover. This is because there was a commercial version of the Electrolux PN5/PN6 that did not have the Floating Height Adjustment mechanism that the Wheel Axle Cover covers up. Instead, the rear wheels are on the same axles used for the front wheels directly behind the brushroll. If your powerhead can use that Wheel Axle Cover, there will be a slot beside each wheel in addition to the slots on the Wheel Axle Cover. If you want the wheels fixed with axles, to get that particular Wheel Axle Cover the only way to get one is to contact a Aerus Dealer who has some in stock, or take one from a used powerhead as it is now discontinued.

Also note that the Perfect C103 powerhead uses a different brushroll and belt. It uses a serpentine v belt, not the geared cog belt a Electrolux powerhead uses. Therefore the brushroll belt pulley is also different. The Perfect C101 did use a geared belt though, and it does look like a aftermarket geared belt brushroll is available through Hibbert International here in Canada. So make sure you DO NOT order powerhead parts for the Perfect C103, as they won't be compatible unless you also change the motor.
