Electrolux Model XXX w/ paper bag adapter on eBay

This paper bag adapter will never win any design awards and it does look pretty funky. But for holdouts who wouldn't buy a new machine this was a way for the salesman to pick up a few bucks, by selling the XXX owner this adapter. They're pretty scarce these days. This XXX is pretty nice overall, too.

Hmmm ... same cleaner you promoted a month or more ago in this forum. The seller needs to fasten a more reasonable price tag to it considering:

1) The cord--which already has a replacement male end--needs a new female end.

2) It has a replacement hose (similar to the Model G's but appears to be an aftermarket with reused gooseneck end). It would likely need repair or replacement.

3) It does not include all the attachments.

4) Its sleds (and perhaps more parts) are rusty.

5) The item's condition is unstated--albeit the lister mentions that it works.

6) These adapted cleaners seem to appear every few months.

7) It has the weaker 475-watt motor, so the adapter is not original with the machine.

P.S.: I'm not "promoting" the machine. It's not my auction, nor do I know the person selling it. I'm just bringing a rare and unusual machine to members' attention.

love to pick it up, because it's actually right by where I live. I'm in Meridian, and Nampa is a 10-minute drive from my house. I talked to the seller a week or so ago, and they wanted a little too much for this machine, and for the Automatic E that sold recently.
