Bought this new back when. Then stopped using it for some years -- wood floors. Now I can't find what is the correct bag to use. Bought some generics but they really reduce the sucking power. Thank you for your help, Laura

Electrolux model L.

It takes standard bags for all Electrolux canister/tank machines starting with the model LX shown here. Just go to Ebay,, or any vacuum cleaner store.

Yes, eBay is the place to get those bags. Purchased in bulk quantities, you can get them for well under a dollar a bag. I think the last ones I bought came out to around 40 cents. And don't be afraid of the generics. I use Multi-Filter brand bags and they work great.

"reduce the suction power"

The Electrolux Mo L from the 60s & 70s was,and still is, a great vac.As above it uses same type C bag that most Elux have used until the type R was added.A good generic multi layer bag will work well and might be found at some grocery/dept stores. The reduced suction might be from a good vac with a bad hose.To find out-remove hose, put in clean bag, turn on,feel suction at vac, replace hose, feel suction at end of hose.If less you may have a clog(drop marble through to find out) or a hose leaking air.Again easy to fix/replace at vac stores or internet.
