Electrolux Model B-8 Acorn Push Nut Size

Please let me know what size acorn push nut I need to attach the wax mister spray bottle holder to an Electrolux Model B-8 machine and if you know where I can obtain them.

I checked Ace Hardware--and they only had 3/32" ones; Menards had 10-24s that looked like they would work, but they were threaded; and The Home Depot has ones labeled 5/32", but they are the same size as the 3/32" ones at Ace. The only other sizes at Menards and The Home Depot were way too large.

I am also interested in obtaining some vintage Electrolux mist sprayer bottles that were used with the Model B-8.

You can always buy a complete nut-and-bolt assembly of a similar size!

Sorry, Alex, that would not work. The round metal "stem" is smooth and permanently attached to the rest of the holder.

I was finally able to locate the correct size of the acorn push nuts, 3/16", from an independent hardware store which is supplied by The Hillman Group (celebrating its 50th anniversary this year).

Even though according to its website "Hillman’s customer portfolio, over 21,000 strong, includes Ace Hardware, True Value, Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Tractor Supply, Walmart, Menards, Do it Best Corp., and many more" as mentioned in my initial post several of these companies did not carry the push nuts in the correct size. I thought this information would be helpful if you ever need to locate the item.

I can obtain some mist sprayer bottle holders minus the bottles and acorn push nuts if anyone is interested in trading for Electrolux spray bottles or purchasing them. They all have the ivory bottle neck clasp which I know for sure went with the tan, gold, and brown versions. The teal version's was teal, but I'm not sure about the aqua or gray versions--in case you're a purist like me.
