Every time I watch this video, I crack up -- I'd never seen the Electrolux bag ejection from this voyeuristic perspective before: I'd only seen it happen when I was vacuuming with one.

It really looks like the poor thing has an upset stomach! It opens its mouth, emits a pathetic groan, then *PLURK!* [as someone so hilariously put it] out comes lunch. It's hilarious!

I have two Pekingese dogs, one of which is of very nervous disposition. She does love to be vacuumed, amazingly enough, given that she's afraid of everything else! But I could just see her hit the ceiling if I was grooming her with an LX and it popped its top and the bag smacked into her!!

Love it-So thats how the LX is supposed to work-I have two of these machines and the bag eject equipment inside them is corroded to beyond recognition-but the motors run flawlessly. You have to change the bag yourself-guess the LX bag mechanism can't withstand the humid conditions in the Southeast.

Yes! Actually, when the LXs were new and the ejectors were very springy, the would often shoot the bag out a distance of 6-8 feet! The cover would pop oven, the motor would shut down, then a split-second later you'd hear a "kaa-CHOOOIINNNNG" sound and the bag would come hurtling out!

I think the "pooting" sound that the LX is making in the video is because they're using a bag that they've used for that demonstration several times and the little cardboard flap in the middle that covers the hole in the rubber membrane is whacked. Because when the bag is new and crisp and the cardboard flap is strong and secure, you don't hear that sound. Just click, VRRRROOOoooooommmm, kaa-CHOOOIINNNNG!
