Electrolux floor polisher bumper restoration

Hey guys the bumper for my 1940s/50s Electrolux be nine polisher the rubber bumper appears to be getting quite close to falling apart, is there anything I can do to try and save it as I know it would probably be quite hard to get a bumper for it
