Yes, Fred, I've seen it online for more, anywhere from $240 to $300.

Also, the bare floor tool works best on hard flooring with the brushes retracted. The brushes are a bit too grabby to work well on carpeting. The turbo brush floor tool is better for carpeting - the revolving bushes make it easier to sweep the carpet. Also, if one lifts it a little the turbo spins up more and seems to help it "digest" debris like pet hair etc.

It would be nice to have one tool that does both... but that is probably not going to happen any time soon.

I ordered a bunch of synthetic S-bags online. I'm sold on the concept but I hope the other ones don't seep fine dust quite as much as the one that came with the vac. It's not a lot, at least not any more than the Eureka LS Filteraire bag seeps in the commercial upright, but we'll see.

Sorry for the stupid request about the floor tool. I just didn't let the computer bring the picture up. I really like the machine. First time I have heard about the synthetic bags.
I would have guessed it to cost more money.

Hey no problem. Nobody's perfect, least of all me.

The synthetic bags are 9.99/5. The paper bags are 8.99/5. I opted for the synthetic. I like the idea of more capacity (ability to conform to the bag compartment shape better) and longer Life (ability to hold more dust before it clogs). Not sure if that means cleaner results, but there is a HEPA filter to handle anything that does leak through.

Looks like a really cool vac.....

I am not keen on the placement of the front wheels on the turbo nozzle, nor on the carpet and floor nozzle. They are too close to the corners where one really needs some suction channels to get at dirt hiding near baseboards and at the edges of furniture legs. Any hairs or dirt being drawn past the wheels in these corners is bound to get stuck in the wheels,eventually preventing them from turning and putting them out of commission.

Where does one store the three-in-one tool? And just for interest sake, how long is that hose? Could you measure it for us at some point when you have time?

Well, the turbo floor tool is sort of an unexpected bonus. The vac is really meant to be a hard floor vac primarily. I agree that there is a fair amount of "dead space" on the turbo tool due to the wheels and more importantly the bearings/drive mechanism for the rollers, but I found it still works rather well on the thin nap carpets shown in the photos.

The hard floor tool seems to do pretty well on edges, so I'm not sure if those side wheels are interfering all that much with the pickup. And there are air passages fore and aft of the thin side wheels to aid in edge pickup. It's not a problem.

The 3-in-1 tool stores in a little cubby at the rear of the machine, opposite the cord stowage. It's a very nice arrangement.

The hose, not including the handle, is a good eight feet long. The handle adds a couple of feet. And of course the wand adds another two to four feet.

Update

The replacement synthetic S-Bags ("Long Performance") arrived today from Vac Shack. These appear to be a bit thicker than the ones included with the Ergospace, so I replaced the 1/2 full on on it with a new one. Will see if it seeps dust more or less than the one that came with the vac.

Also, the Eureka HF-1 HEPA filter looks like an exact replacement for the pricier Elux version. (I ordered an HF-1 as well).

Update to the update

Well, I vacuumed out the bedroom today with a new bag and it's not seeping like the one that came with the vac. So that is good.

This is the first vac I've had with a bag indicator that actually seems to work. The one on the Bissell Butler never seems to show any fullness, although I know that little paper bag does get clogged in time. The one on the Ridgid shop vac probably works, but it's such a big canister I don't think I've ever seen it show fullness. Oh, and the Ridgid, which normally is attached to the bead blaster cabinet in the shop, saw double duty last week, vacuuming all the cat hair and leaves out of the enclosed patio. Really did a great job, but I resorted to the Eureka HEPA Commercial vac for a small area rug I put under the weight lifting set I stuck in the patio some years back. Nothing like rotating brushes to get a carpet clean.

Next up is to vac the living room whether it needs it or not, and then the second bedroom, which is mostly storage now but has an area rug as well. All will be with the Ergospace.
