At Costco the other day I saw a new (to me) canister vac from Electrolux.
It's the Ergospace Green Model EL4101A. From reading on the internet about it, apparently it's an update to the Ultrasilencer. Since there weren't many reviews yet out on the Ergospace Green, I read those on the Ultrasilencer. It's gotten overall very good reviews on Amazon (4+ out of 5).
The reviews applaud the low noise, the superior suction, the fact that the quality is very good and the wands/attachments don't fall off if you look at them wrong, and the self-contained 34 foot retractable cord (on reel). It's also HEPA filtered.
Basically my home is all hard flooring with a few area rugs. I've been using a Bissell Butler on the hard flooring but it leaves a bit to be desired, mainly in the area of the floor attachment (it tends to push dirt around instead of sucking it up). So I've been looking to supplement it with a higher powered model, and I'm thinking this new Elux might be the answer.
So I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone has tried the new one yet.
What djyall think?
