I had a fruitless time trying to find vacuums today, they were out but didn't tickle my fancy, except for the Eureka Bravo in black, which I left (at the moment) and the Lux Elite, in grey plastic from head to tail. It was complete and might have come home with me except for the $70.00 price tag. The most I have paid so far has been $55.00 for the Kirby, at the same shop, but that will be the last time I will go over $30.00 for any machine. Anybody here have one?

I would try to haggle a price for either of he machines

I already paid the $55.00 for the Kirby last June, I think, and since they are a thrift store, they don't like having their prices beaten down. They do lower the prices when the mood strikes them, like half price sales, or when something has sat in there too long. But unfortunately, it has to be their idea.
