Hey there, guys. Remember the thread from a few months back, regarding wanting to sell some of my vacuums so I could buy another carpet cleaning van? Well, I don't have to sell any of my vacuums, as the seller of the van lowered the price way down, from $4500.00 to $2800.00! Anyway, here's some pictures of it, and best of all I can keep my babies! So enjoy, Here's some pics of the van and equipment, with the vinyl lettering all done! It's Official--Choo-Choo Train Carpet cleaning is up and running!

Some info about the van:

The van is a 1996 Ford E-350 extended cargo van. It has 119,000 original miles. The cleaning unit is a DynaChem 300 with a 24 HP Honda 2 cylinder engine, a 3000 PSI pump, and a 4.5 vacuum blower--Now that's one Cleaning Dude! I've already cleaned the carpet in my house with it as well as the next door neighbors' carpet and it runs great!

That is really GREAT to hear that you were able to successfully get the van and get your business up and running without having to sacrifice any of you vacuums! I'm sorry I've not returned your call, things have been absolutely crazy around here, but I will get back with you soon! Again, the van looks AWESOME and congrats on everything! I love the name/lettering on the van!

Way To Go!

Nathan:

I am so glad this worked out well for you! I hope your new business goes like gangbusters, and makes you a lot of money.

Best of all, I'm glad you got to keep your babies.

P.S.: Are any of your babies a gold cordwinder for a late Model L? I'm in the market for one!

Best wishes,

Sandy McLendon

To gottahaveahoov, not yet as far as a conductor hat, I was thinking of a train horn. To Sandy, I don't have any gold model L cordwinders. My gold model L's just have the chrome cord bells on them.

WOW!!!Nice deal you got on the truck and the machine! From the pictures--looks like a bargain for what you paid for it-and it should pay for itself quickly! And you can get more vacuums! The Honda motor looks in real nice shape.they are good workhorses!

Ah, progress!

I wish you succes whereever your new business takes you! YOU have taken the risk and YOU are the one who built your business (don't care what politicians think) so I hope it turns a nice profit and your investment pays off!
