Electrolux UK seemed to allow US designs to be imported around this time. The last of the UK machines were the 'Contour' / 'Airstream' designed machines.

the one in the basement is in really bad shape...got used and abused for so many years by the girls i work with cleaning the courthouse...but im supposed to pick up a eureka[yellow top]comm upright 7amp sunday...pretty bad shape also but runs....so we'll see....its free so i cant gripe i guess...so how good a vac was that elux/whirlwind....
