Electrolux combination brush - decent aftermarket

Are there any decent generic combination brushes that are close to the original Electrolux.
I have noticed ..
aftermarket bristles are not as robust
Inside piece is not soft rounded, they usually are hard and have a sharp edge to them.
Very disappointed with what is available.
Both the brush inserts and the whole combination brush.
I was refunded my money for one since it was not the correct color, and the inside piece had a sharp edge which could scratch a surface.
Also, the plastic was thinner and would fall off the clip on the vacuum.

Mystery combo tool.

I've got a gray generic one that I purchased of eBay a year or so ago for around $8 brand new. I've never seen another one exactly like it. It's got a squarish, ribbed body, the bristles on the dusting brush side are just as soft as the one that came with my 1205 and the 'wings' on the upholstery brush side even have little velour strips on them that help pick up cat hair. As a nice bonus for me, it has a little slot on the 'wing' end that fits perfectly over the clip for the combo tool on my Discovery Plus, which is where it now resides. I'd love to tell you who made it but It's got no brand name nor any sort of model number or other markings anywhere on it. It's down in the barn right now, but next time I go out there, I'll grab it and shoot a picture of it.

Here is the dud that I got my money back on.
Color was supposed to be gray.
Bristles are actually shorter than the Electrolux and not as soft.

I did find one on ebay that the seller responded is very similar to the old Electrolux style with a rubber insert and natural bristles.
Very hard to compare these when the part numbers are arbitrary. I suspect only a few companies really make these, but the true manufacturer is never disclosed.

Bristles need to be horsehair. So many originals on the bay, just go that route. Used to be able to get the horse hair, snap-in assembly from vendors....don't know if that's possible anymore? If it is, you can save on some pretty worn down eBay examples.
