Help Support VacuumLand:

Excuse.....

me?? Are you saying that when you plug it in, nothing happens....or did you forget to put a bag inside?

Kevin

Dear sir, please inform us that English is not your mother tongue? If that is the case, them the word you are after is "Hose". Otherwise, "Wut?"

If you're going to post on VacuumLand, you need to put your real name in your profile.

You also need to speak in comprehendible sentences.  I will not stand for garbage posted on the site that nobody can read or understand.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Lol...

Sorry, it was early--I had just woken up and had not yet had any coffee. I didn't notice any spellcheck errors. I meant to say comprehensible.

<strong><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">heheh, yes, typos are certainly excusable ... However, there IS an alarming and increasing growth of illiteracy not just in the U.S. but in other 'developed' countries as well. </span></strong>

<strong><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">It only takes the most minimum amount of time reading Facebook, eBay and other internet sites to be made clearly aware of this. You see spelling so shockingly bad that it would be hilarious if it wasn't so alarming. And punctuation? "Punkctuatean! Whats" that,!!!? LOL"!! Wee don,t nead no; steenkin= p</span></strong><strong><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">unkctuatean!!!??!</span></strong><strong><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">"</span></strong>

<strong><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">No, it's not a matter or snootiness, elitism, or "better-than-others-ism." It simply an undeniable fact that more and more people are incapable of expressing themselves clearly and articulately -- both when speaking and when writing. And this is truly scary.</span></strong>

I couldn't agree more, CRL.  Improper use of grammar is one of my biggest pet-peeves, and I really have to hold back sometimes on this site... I understand that sometimes people may post in a hurry, and some just aren't good at using proper grammar/spelling/punctuation.  And that's why I let it slide often.  English is a tough language, even I have difficulty quite frequently.  But I pull out the dictionary and thesaurus... and read and edit, etc....

And I certainly don't mean to get on a soapbox and belittle anyone.... In the end, I'd rather have some participation on this site by members who may be grammatically challenged -- than no participation at all.  And for those people who DO try, I greatly appreciate your effort!

People who don't try and post diarrhea of the mouth (or keyboard), that's a different story.

Don't.....

fall for that necessarily. That's an old Net ruse; post something crazy or illegible and then play the sympathy card later, when the feces hits the fan. Part & parcel to the Net def of 'troll'. Indeed-the 'whole' sister should have written her sister's thoughts so that we may have all been on-board. Now it's a cluster of magnum proportion.....the disruption of a good site is wholly unnecessary by this.
