Electrolux AP-200 ligths up but doesn't work

Hey all! I have a pretty nice AP-200. It is in very good condition but it doesn't work at all.

When I turn the switch on, the bag light comes on, but that's all.

What could be wrong? Is the valve under the 1-to-6 knob on top of the cleaner broken?

Well, when the bag door is closed, if I push firmly on it to close it a little bit tighter, the motor runs !

Does that mean that I have to clean the door bag switch? Any other suggestion?

Yep bad bag doro switch and bad bag door conenciton is my guest .

I changed the bag door switch and the door three-blade connector (I had a spare door off of an AP-100) and now it works fine !
