I hope you don't mind if I start another thread for this one. I did post it in my thread about my first Electrikbroom. But, since they're pretty different, despite being pretty similar, maybe it deserves its own thread.
The other day, I found myself about a block away from the thrift store where I found my first one, just recently, so I decided to stop in. Lightning struck twice! I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted another one!
This one is newer; I'm guessing late 1970s or early 1980s. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge on the subject can narrow it down for me. Maybe the design of the Handi-Handle gives us a clue as well. I've seen some where it's built into the colored part of the unit. Whereas this one is part of the white assembly at the bottom of the bag. It's also the same height as the older one. I believe they made them shorter at some point.
I tested all three speeds, and they all work. Although, there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference between the middle and high speed.
This one doesn't have the "Rug Pile Dial"; it's automatic. But, it has the functional edge cleaning controls, and the "Air Pulse". When the latter is engaged, it definitely makes a fluttering sound. So, it's working. I just don't know if it actually affects the performance at all.
This color and design have always appealed to me, so I'm happy to have found one! And, so soon after finding my very first one!

Way to go!

I found the Model H67839 featured in a 1984 ad, so I'm thinking the 240 serial number indicates February 1984.

I'm not sure when or why the old system of longer serial numbers and a separate 3-digit manufacture code was changed to a 3-digit serial number.

Not sure if there are any big-time Regina collectors on VL that would know that or details of the Electrikbroom design changes and trim levels over the years.

This one also doesn’t have the rubber collar around the bottom of the bag. So, I’m guessing, in order to remove the bag, I would unscrew the top, and maybe remove the Handi-Handle? It looks like that’s what holds the bottom of the bag in place.

I made an exception to my usual rule of not using a vacuum until I've given it a thorough cleaning.
I gave this Electrikbroom a quick run in one room. It was a combination of bare floor, and a "rag rug".
I shook out the bag, and emptied the cup of a small amount of dust and hair. I guess I felt okay to run this one, because it looks so clean, and doesn't have any funky smells of any kind. It seems like it was well cared for, and/or not used much.
I'll still try to take the bag off and wash it at some point. But, I like the little guy so much, I just had to try it out!
