The plastic hose on the Regina on eBay looks like a replacement hose to me. The cuffs are a different color from the hose, and the gray color of the hose doesn't match any of the trim or accent details on the machine or the white attachments. I'm not saying that it is =not= the original hose, just that it doesn't match anything else.

Oh My!!

I saw this and would love to have it, these were great vacuums and I have a ton of nOS bags, but Its a little too rich for me! LOL

My mom did not think it was a great vacuum, especially after owning a Filter Queen for many years. The Regina had many problems - very noisy, cord reel kept winding the cord on its own, wands would either keep coming apart in use or stick together so tightly it was damn near impossible to get them apart, combo floor rug nozzle cracked where it connected to the wand, bag fill indicator did not work. My mom was not hard on a vacuum but after just a couple of years using this machine she went out and bought another Filter Queen.

Well...

Comparing a store vacuum to a Filter Queen is like comparing a Town Car to a Yugo!!LOL, the main weakness I remember was the tools were cheap.

Riccar and Dyson-

A couple of modern vacs in with the vintage. These were each traded for a deluxe canister model and show one of the best and most interesting of both bag and bagless. The Riccar (bag) is the Brilliance with Tandem Air and is a very good used vac.The Dyson (bagless) is the AirMuscle and after removing a few strings from brush and emptying the little bit of dust and dirt I feel it has not even been used for 3 hours.See these, vintage vacs including the 'Lucy' Westinghouse and MORE at EBay seller leisurelady65--

'Lucy' Westinghouse,Sunbeam and more-

Foung a very nice original Westinghouse as seen on the 'I Love Lucy' show as the Handy Dandy.Has original hose ends, wands and rug & floor tools as pictures show. What was perhaps most amazing that pictures can't show is in description as "Runs well and sounds good with strong suction."If they all ran as well as this one it is no wonder that Lucy had no 'Sales Resistance'!!-Also a nice Sunbeam with all attachments,Eureka Ironsides and more and more to come at EBay seller leisurelady65.

Kenmore & Eureka & White-westinghouse &

Kenmore & MORE!--Rare Kenmore & Eureka without atts and a modern Kenmore with all attachments. The Sears Best Electronic is only the second one I have ever seen. While there are many of the early white color canister using the 5055 bags very few chose the more expensive 'super, deluxe'version with the touch controls on hose, first 3 wire Kenmore hose, electronic module in PowerMate that senses the magnet in brush, etc. These hoses were fragile and this one is taped and all controls work well.It is an amazing low milage survivor.---As is the deluxe White-Westinghouse Millenium. It was found without hose that was probably never installed as it seem to have had only limited use on carpet.--And more & more at EBay seller leisurelady65.

Rare White-Westinghouse Upright Made by Eureka

This vac is a prime example of the on-going practice of Sweden's Electrolux to mix and match their list of brandnames on products around the world. At some point in the early 1990's the company bought White-Westinghouse - a well-known North American manufacturer of major appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines. I actually think the corporate name was White Consolidated Industries, or WCI Ltd.

Not quite sure of the strategy, but soon after that corporate acquisition, we started seeing Eureka vacs branded with the name White-Westinghouse. Here you have a modified "Bravo" or Powerline World Vac...the guts look almost identical to any of those Eureka vacs, but the hood and exterior treatments are different.

If you look carefully at some of the old packages of Eureka dust bags, you'll see that the copyright at the bottom is owned by White Consolidated Industries - probably bags from around 1991.
