Decade rumor?

There is a rumor of Decade being auctioned on Ebay, but I can't find it, has anyone seen it? Thanks.

It's for a Eureka Model 250, 255 Upright......

They had the square nameplate on top of the machine for tool conversion. See picture on left.

"Is this a Compact hose? It doesn't look like a Lux hose."
No, that is a hose for a Eureka upright.

The fitting is designed to clip into an access port under a clipped cap in the exterior hood casing above the brushroll, on the body of the machine below the headlight. The fitting inserts down and then rotates inward, cutting off airflow from the main brushroll intake bottom plate, directing near full suction through the hose.
It was a convenient innovation over other brand's methods to attach a hose for above-the-floor cleaning - most others were awkward slide or clam,p on affairs that covered the entire width of the brushroll plate - of accomplishing this for above-the-floor cleaning. It appeared on two-tone blue Eurekas just prior to the top mounted rug height dial.
In another note:
Saran braided Eureka hoses are renowned for retaining their flexibility and air tightness long after other brands braided hoses have become leaky. Most of mine from the 50s and 60s Mobilaire hams, Rotomatics, canisters and uprights alike, are still 'thump' worthy.

Found These Genuine Hoover Agitators

Found these Hoover agitators on Ebay - thought the guy was trying a fast one because the description had the word "wood" in it. They are the real all metal deal w/ beater bars and I only paid $14.70 a piece including shipping. I bought all 5, 2 are kinda wobbly but at that price I'm not complainin'! The Hoover - It Beats - as it Sweeps - as it Cleans!

<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">Yes that's my Compact C6.  I already have a 23rd Anniversary C6, so I have to sell the "duplicate" C6.</span>

<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">Electrolux 1205 in Grey; could this be a rebuild or D. I. Y. painted?</span>

Gray 1205

I would be careful with that one. If it had been rebuilt by Electrolux, it would have more of a hammertone finish and a rebuild tag attached to the body of the machine. I see them go across eBay every now and then, but I'm not sure this one fits the description. I can't really find a good photo, but I'll include what I could come up with. This machine you have found may even belong to one of our members here who has painstakenly rebuilt it, but I would contact the seller and ask a LOT of questions before placing a bid if I was considering it. I hope that helps some!

1205

As above the factory rebuild would have a riveted tag on side with new serial no(old one painted over)and possible paper label inside bag door.Would use current colors at time of rebuild. This could be a good vac but factory rebuild would not reuse broken front wheel assy.

Boy...that Princess looks like it's hardly been used! It's got the cardboard packaging that secured the attachments! Love the Eureka "E" on the handle...
