Well, I did it again! I did not check the Feedback for my current Seller before buying a vac.

I am hoping I will not be the next victim. Initially they responded to a pre-buy question, so I thought this would be a smooth transaction.

So far, NOTHING. No responses to my messages asking how things are coming along, asking if you got my previous message and finally if they have a tracking number yet and just had forgotten to post it.

One negative feedback mentioned very late shipping and another mentioned no responses to messages.

I've been scammed by vacuum sellers on a regular basis. Hacked abandoned accounts, people thinking eBay works like "phone apps" where you can take people's money and never ship it, people that lowball the shipping and then refuse to ship when they find out how much it really costs, people that just sit on the item and ship it after 3 weeks for absolutely no reason other than they spend the money first and ship last. You name it I've encountered it.

I've even had professional vacuum shops scam me. The ones that do not do inventory and keep out of stock products up for decades. You buy it, then ask where's my item, then they say it's out of stock and delete the item off the website without telling you, then they refuse refunding you because "all sales final". You have no way to chargeback either because the dollar value is too low. Sears also did this to me for a Hoover Z700 part and I sat on the phone on hold for 3.5 hours trying to get my money refunded "we can't refund you because this order is on back order we are waiting for the manufacturer" before I hung it up and said forget about it.

Craziest one I've had yet, I bought a vintage 1940's vac, seller had a friend ship it for him. Friend packed it up, put it in his truck, then died later that night. He never knew his friend had died until a couple weeks later (after I opened the case for non receipt of item). He got his friend's truck from the family, refunded me all the money I paid, and shipped the vacuum out anyway. It got here all safe and sound.

The world is swirling the drain, and to quote a movie; "buckle up, it's gonna get real weird".

Well, well, well.....

This buyer used a box smaller than the vacuum but did cram it full of newspaper. I did not notice that there was only one hose listed. I did notice there was a PN and wands. Had I looked more closely, I would have noticed there was one, non-electric hose. Hope I can customize the hose to run the PN.
