I today (Feb. 24) got my Kirby 13" brush roll from eBay.

But I want to warn you all the brush roll is not as described. What I thought was a double-bristle brush roll (per item description) instead turned out to be a single-bristle brush roll and with a black painted wood body.

Please do not buy from this seller - at least not unless, prior to buying, you ask him whether or not the item he has actually matches what is said in the description.

Thank you,

Ben: People in the vacuum business tend to describe the Kirby brush roller as "two row" or "four row". A G5 brush roller, for example is a "four row", even though to YOU it looks like a double row brush. This is the way these brushes are described in the wholesaler catalogs. To me, an original 505 brush roller is a "two row". The seller described them as they are described in catalogs.

yes im with tom on this one. vac distributors (ive dealt with several for many parts) NEVER describe brushrolls as "single" or "double" ALWAYS two row or four row

Hi Ben,

<span style="font-size: large; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Hi Ben, Sorry to hear that they sent you the brush roll you didn't want. Especially if it was painted black.

<span style="font-size: large; font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">I've had it before when I bought some old style genuine bags. Being sent copy bags. Sometimes sellers thinks bags are bags in my case and most buyer won't know the difference. So they get away with it allot of the time.
