I was watching tonites episode of American Restoration and they have an "EASY " washer with wringer and 3 plunger agitator . The price was $6500 for a total restoration .

Wow that's expensive ,
What do you think Robert?
I know you are the washer machine expert.
I can sure appreciate all the restorations you do on your washers,
I was thinking this may be of interest to you ,
Check out the episode

Thanks Brad, we had discussed this on automaticwasher.org too.

The general consensus of this is its great, but wringer or twin tub washers are very easy to restore, we would like to see them tackle and automatic washer such as a Westinghouse Laundromat, Frigidaire Unimatic or any other automatic. The automatics are 100,000 times more challenging to restore than a wringer or twin tub washer such as the Easy as they are much more complicated machines, with hundreds of more parts.

Wow! Could you imagine what Ric would charge to do one of those? He charged $6500 for a wringer type washer that is so much easier than an automatic?! YIKES! I could only imagine how much that would set someone back!

There you go. Robert

Maybe you could have your own washer restoration show and also make a good profit.
I think American Restoration could use some good competition.
Just an idea that I thought I would share with you .
What do you think about that?

I think I would need a 25th hour in the day Brad lol

That is like the Rexair vacuum they just restored. Like the other shows of it's kind. You have to wonder how much of it is really staged. And if that is the true price someone paid for a restoration. Prices like that will keep the volume of work in check.
