Early 1900s Lakeland Vacuum

Lakeside vacuum cleaner.
Looks to be in fair/poor condtion (for its age its probably good condition!) but its also missing the hand pump rod and the hose but it's still an interesting find I came across on Kijiji and thought I would share.

Of course I look over everything to see if I got anything wrong with my post and then I post and see that I wrote the title woth the wrong name. I'm tired.

I also just realized that I posted this in Vintage and in the Supermarket. Okay that's it for me, it's bed time.

I'm sure the handle would've just been a basic broom handle, or shovel handle.

This is my Lakeside. I have the original (still sealed) hose, along with wand and nozzle. I didn't have the 'stick' so I used one off a parted-out Hoovrah 102 and it worked great. The Lakeside actually produces a strong stream of suction, which definitely is surprising.
