The little toy was cute... It reminds me of when i was a really little kid. I had one just like it exept it was a dirt devil upright.

Hey Joe.

I've been observing this from afar and I don't take sides since I don't use Dyson. And I don't know either of you at all, but I do go on dust fluff grit and I can see that you are a follower. Hard not to see that with your universal avitar.

Take a step back and agree to disagree. This disagreement is not worth damaging your contacts here. You'll regret this some day.

I have met people here that I really liked and made hasty decisions in the heat of the moment that I can't reverse and wish I could.

Chris.

Hey! Joe! Be a follower of my blog!

DONE! thanks for the invitation

here is my real avitar below in its real form (my head)

Wow

I'm jealous since I'm bald. Forget what I said, Joe. I hope you and your new friend, who ever and were ever KirbyVille is, will be very happy.

KirbyVille is in Billings, Montana.

Yeah, Joe. You need to listen to Chris in Pittsburgh. Get off of your soap box of Dyson dislike -- like I said last week... we get it. Please cut it out.

Nah, I'm not that much of a convertible fan. Really, I don't spend my money on old vacuums. Mainly new vacuums to keep my business well stocked.

You don't get my point at all "Jack" - No, I do not like the Dyson at all, but it is part of the vast market of vacuum cleaners and has its place. I'm not trying to knock your brand. I assume you are just an avid fan or a collector- you don't seem like the type who would own a retail appliance business or work for Dyson.

As several other posters have mentioned, let's just agree to disagree. I come to this forum for the fun of it, not the drama that overzealous vacuum fanatics create. Although, I don't enjoy being jumped on by some Brit for making a valid point about Dyson's advertising.

You don't have to put my name in quotation marks - my name is Jack... as plenty of people here who have met me - in both the US and UK - can verify. I've been an active poster on this forum since 2006. And unlike certain contributers to this thread, I don't disguise my identity by hiding behind false names and avatars. Yes, I'm a 'Brit' (actually, I'm English), although I'm not sure what you're getting at there - does that make me inferior to you somehow?

Disagreeing with your statements is not the same as 'not getting it'. You can make whatever points you like, and I'm entitled to share my view. Sorry if this doesn't fit with your agenda. You can call me 'overzealous' for daring to respond to your diatribes with an alternate opinion, but I'm not the one spending my time trying to sabotage other people's discussions of brands I don't care for, or provoking drama.

So just to be clear, according to you, you get to write whatever you like about Dyson, and even if I know you to be incorrect, or hold an alternative viewpoint, I just have to say nothing, for the sake of 'agreeing to disagree'?

I like your viewpoints and appreciate them, hence the purpose of a forum with many different opinions. Don't take things so emotionally or personally- it is just an online forum.

'Don't take things so emotionally or personally...&#

I'm sure putting my name in quotation marks, or invoking my nationality as some way of discrediting me, was done in the nicest possible sense, right? And speculating about my ability to run a business or work for Dyson - based on the few posts of mine that you've actually bothered to read?

Ok, well I've deleted my previous response, for the sake of harmony on the forum. I'll finish with this discussion too. Ultimately, it doesn't matter. The people who really know me know what experience my opinions are based on - and I don't have to justify myself to anyone else. Buy a Dyson... don't buy a Dyson... I'm not on commission, so it doesn't effect me either way!

:)
