years back i saw a floor powder like arm and hammer pet fresh made by dyson first do they still make it and two what is the benifits of useing a powder solution

It's called Zorb
It's a dry cleaning powder like Sebo's Duo-P that works on encapsulation technology. I don't rate them too much - the Sonic Duo or my Hoover shampooer does a better job.
