Luxkid1980,

I do agree with your comments. Though I know others would blame me for saying that I am heavy handed.

My work colleague said that I am too heavy handed lol, so I have decided not to be so 'quick', but Dyson should really have made the V6 more stronger. Dyson argued with me and said that its designed for 'quick cleaning' not a through one, I suppose they are correct, however, its very expensive for that privilege. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment so I don't really need a 'large' machine. Though I have decided to buy a big SEBO as I really like them.

The main reason for me using it so fast and bumping into furniture was because I thought it lasted 20 minutes when I bought it, but was horrified to discover it only lasted 14 minutes with the main motor head attached, so I had to vacuum at super fast speeds to cover the area and this in turn meant I hit doors and furniture, eventually I had 2 wands break and a crack on the back. I got new parts for it and sold it on.

Glad you're happy with your V8 too blakaeg... I'm still very pleased with mine in terms of performance and build quality over the V6.

I use mine a few times a week. Once a week I clean my car with it, I do a 'big' clean once a week with my Kirby and use the V8 to do the stairs and things to save having to get the hose out for the Kirby and in the middle of the week I'll give the house a quick going over with just the V8.

Purely a convenience item, but one that I wouldn't want to be without.

Yes, Stefan! It is a rather expensive convenience for what Dyson calls "quick clean ups." You can really get a work out flying through your whole house cleaning in 14 minutes :)
