I am the proud owner of a Dyson G-force the first one ...in pink colors.
It was in a museum in europe in 1984/85 the machine had a design award.

I was wondering are there a still more around, i konow the vacuummuseum has one too.

Best regards,

Ronald

Cyclon/G force differences

The Cyclon 1000 was first. It was made by Zanussi in Italy. There were only a few hundred built. Mine is serial number 46. There is NO shroud, no pre-motor filter (they use a tiny bottle brush as a pre-motor lint filter) and no post motor filter either.

The G-Force (made in Japan by APEX) had a steel soleplate, height adjustment lever, and a Shroud (to keep lint from going into the high efficiency cyclone).

The G-Force was made for a good number of years. There were thousands sold. It should, in fact, be easier to obtain a G-Force than a Cyclon.
