TRUAT me, your dc25 is capable of heavy domestic use, our dc25 animal was used for 2 years in a 5 bedroom multi floor house like twice a day, and with a large family, and large home, it coped, and never lost suction
Parwaz, what machine that fowls its filter in TWO uses is suitable for heavy use? The man has gone good and joined the Kirby side, it's over! Let the Kirby do what the Dyson could never do.
You know what a Kirby can't do is not ease-of-use it's heavy the attachments are a nuisance and are annoying it's loud and very very expensive no on-board hoes and attachment on board .I just can't take it any more you have to post on every Dyson thread and say how bad they are Even my you haven't got one or have any of the new ones don't go to thead about Kirby and say how big and clumsy they are is kept inside this whole time It's driving me mad need to stops saying how bad Dyson are cause there not not perfect many many many people are happy with them just stop Please I am begging you
Do you really think 2 years is a long life span for a machine that cost over £250 new?
We had a Panasonic in daily use in a house with 4 cats and 4 kids for 17 years. Even after that, it still worked, but my mother upgraded.
My grandmother, who has always vacuumed twice daily as she has 3 dogs, had an Electrolux 610 on the go for 11 years. She's since burnt her way through 5 Dysons before switching to a more reliable brand.
My Dad's work vacuum (Numatic) has been on the go since 1979 with no repairs and that thing gets used and abused.
Suction is not the issue here, it's the amount of rubbish Dyson's 'cyclonic technology' is failing to contain! If THAT is on the filter, imagine what's being spewed into the air!
