Hi all,

I hope everyone here is well :).

My friend is paying me a visit in the coming weeks and is bringing his DC14 animal up with him. It works fine, however some clever twit (not my friend) decided to vacuum up dog sick with it (gross, right?). The vacuum still runs, still picks up but it STINKS! I am guessing that the whole of the cyclone needs cleaning out. Could anyone post some quick instructions on taking a DC14 cyclone apart? I've done it on my DC01 and my DC04 before, but never on the newer root cyclone models. Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks all,
Chris

Hello
to do this you need to remove the filter which is located in the top of the bin... next you need to take a torx head screw driver and remove the 7-8 screws from the cyclone housing which is located under the filter of course. after that the assembly should come right off exposing the cyclone system

hope this helps
Mike
