DC-07

Out of the two Dyson uprights i have (07 and 17) i prefer the 07 i feel it's brushes are not as hard on the carpet as the 17 in addition i like the handle on the 07 as i find the grip more comfortable when using it on the end of the hose

I had % dc07s in my6 life, and I love them! they are the best dysons ever made, but are not as robust as a dc14 or dc04, DC14 is a nice macine but not much power like a dc07

dc07

I love the dc07! They are my favorite dyson uprights. I do prefer the clutchless models however because they seem to clean much better on carpets, plus the lack of a clutch makes them more reliable. The clutchless dc07's were sold for a very short time over here and they are already quite rare but I managed to track one down. I do like the dc14 but it does not seem to have the same kind of suction as the dc07.

yeah the dc14 claims to have the same suction as the DC07, but i don't believe it!!!
anyway parwaz786 you remember that DC04 i have? well so much more has broke on that than any other vacuum!!! i hope i can get a new motor for one, when i can afford one

th e07

i have to agree the 07 i think was the best dyson made i had the clutchless origin model there were a lot of complaints when they first came out, people were saying it was to powerfull and they couldnt push them the simple soloution to this was to remove the foam rubbery seal of the nozzle plate, i never did this as i liked the full suction from the machine. my dc04 was also an exellent machine agin the base silver and lime clutchless version, this machine i bought new and it did the rounds my mumhad it my friends had it, it went through 3 house rebuilds and never missed a beat, untill 2 months ago when i turned it on and the motor just went poof lol. i am seriously not a dyson fan i wouldnt give you tuppence for the new models but my 04 and 07 were amazing vacuums and practical for what they were used for, a friend of who is rebuilding her house has my 07 and she loves it its used for brick dust and concrete bits and normal vacuuming as well and it never fails

dysondestijl, Our DC04 is still going strong :D only needed a new wand end cap so far, its the spring less design which i love and prefer cus it never fails.
The DC14 has good hose suction but through the floor head its rubbish! the DC07 picks it up perfectly like a cylinder, did you know i had a DC08 origin? i think thats the best dyson cylinder

yeah tayyab i seen the youtube videos of your dc08. i have the dc08 telescope wrap animal which i got reconditioned for £45 and i hate the turbinehead but the vac itself is good, and it has 12 cyclones!!!! i also have a DC25, DC04, dc04 absolute+, dc07s x2 obviously, dc08, dc16 animal, dc01 x3, dc02x2. and about 30-35 other brand vacs
